Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy data and draft evidence-based recommendations for City Council and mayoral leadership
- Conduct stakeholder outreach with community groups, businesses, and state agencies
- Develop implementation strategies for federal/state grant programs impacting Louisville residents
- Monitor policy outcomes through quantitative metrics and qualitative assessments
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for public hearings and legislative sessions
- Coordinate interdepartmental initiatives to address cross-cutting issues like climate resilience
- Stay current on federal regulations affecting local government operations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector

- Proven track record in grant writing and federal compliance documentation
- Strong understanding of Kentucky state regulations and federal funding mechanisms
