Responsibilities
- Oversee design and execution of multimillion-dollar public infrastructure projects
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and regulatory agencies
- Ensure compliance with federal/state transportation regulations and ADA standards
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments
- Develop technical specifications and contract documents
- Mentor junior engineering staff and interns
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public works experience
- Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, GIS, and project management software
- Demonstrated experience with municipal infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT and federal funding programs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
