Responsibilities
- Oversee design and execution of multimodal transportation infrastructure projects
- Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies for permit compliance
- Manage capital improvement budgets exceeding $5M annually
- Develop sustainable infrastructure solutions for coastal resilience
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers and contractors
- Ensure ADA compliance and accessibility standards implementation
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to city councils
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of public works project management experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in California
- Expertise in Caltrans standards and transportation regulations
- Proven budget management for large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of environmental compliance (CEQA/NEPA)
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS mapping systems
- Ability to obtain Secret security clearance
