Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize quantum algorithms for machine learning tasks, including variational quantum eigensolvers and quantum neural networks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware engineers to reduce noise and improve coherence times in quantum processors.
- Translate complex mathematical concepts into scalable software solutions using Python and quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil).
- Mentor junior researchers and PhD candidates in advanced quantum computing methodologies.
- Conduct rigorous testing and benchmarking of AI models on near-term quantum hardware (NISQ devices).
- Lead technical architecture reviews and contribute to patent generation.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning, deep learning, or quantum computing.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and experience with quantum software development kits (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane).
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics principles.
- Track record of publishing research or delivering high-impact engineering solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
