Responsibilities
- Lead the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for enterprise web applications and mobile platforms.
- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions using modern frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical specifications.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Ensure application security and compliance with federal and district data privacy regulations.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues in production environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, Java, or similar languages.
- Strong experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or cloud databases (Azure/ AWS).
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and lead sprint planning.
