Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular audits, and manage stock replenishment to prevent shortages.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and freight carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, resolving logistics bottlenecks.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current supply chain workflows and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all shipping and receiving activities adhere to federal safety regulations and company policies.
- Data Analysis: Prepare detailed reports on supply chain metrics, tracking KPIs such as lead times and order accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain coordination or logistics management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with vendors.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex logistical issues under pressure.
