Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business processes and technical requirements to design and implement robust software solutions.
- Lead the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, system design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and state agency stakeholders, to ensure project objectives are met.
- Perform system architecture reviews, code auditing, and quality assurance testing to maintain high system integrity.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and developers within the team.
- Document system specifications, technical designs, and user manuals to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the state's IT framework.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems analysis, software engineering, or IT project management.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, .NET, or Python.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust security clearance.
