Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system development and integration.
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from planning to deployment.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with all relevant government regulations and standards.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and perform performance tuning to optimize system efficiency.
- Mentor junior analysts and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with city departments to identify process improvements and digital transformation opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT consulting.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies.
- Familiarity with government frameworks and public sector data privacy regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
