Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into robust technical specifications for government systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level software solutions and database architectures.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local data privacy and security regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including policy makers and IT staff, to optimize operational workflows.
- Conduct system performance testing and implement necessary upgrades to enhance efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and support staff.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for regulatory audits and stakeholder presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis or software development within the public sector or complex enterprise environments.
- Proven expertise in SQL, Python, Java, and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Strong understanding of government IT frameworks, cybersecurity standards, and compliance protocols (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
