Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal network infrastructure and data systems in compliance with FISMA standards.
- Ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations regarding data privacy and security.
- Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and training to junior IT staff members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements.
- Oversee third-party vendor performance and manage software licensing agreements.
- Prepare detailed reports for senior management regarding system status and compliance metrics.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems analysis, support, or engineering within the public sector or federal environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Professional certification such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or ITIL Foundation.
- Strong knowledge of federal procurement processes, ITIL framework, and agile methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
