Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex government information systems and software applications.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for development teams.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local government IT security and privacy standards.
- Conduct system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
- Lead the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud-based solutions.
- Provide advanced technical support and mentorship to junior analysts and IT staff.
- Collaborate with city departments to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT infrastructure management.
- Strong working knowledge of government frameworks such as FISMA and NIST compliance.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Certifications such as CISSP, PMP, or ITIL are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
