Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex IT systems and software solutions for government agencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, developers, and project managers, to identify business requirements and technical specifications.
- Conduct thorough system testing, quality assurance, and performance tuning to ensure optimal functionality.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams and user manuals.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and IT staff members.
- Ensure compliance with federal and local government IT standards and security protocols.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or a related technical role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, .NET, or other relevant programming languages.
- Experience with government systems or public sector projects is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
