Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and system designs.
- Lead the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from planning through deployment.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions using modern architectures.
- Conduct code reviews, perform system testing, and implement quality assurance measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, and government officials.
- Ensure all systems comply with state and federal security policies and data privacy regulations.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and developers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in systems analysis, software engineering, or IT consulting.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization technologies.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems (PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Waterfall project management.
- Certification in IT Project Management (PMP) or Cloud Architecture is highly desirable.
