Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable system architectures for federal clients using cloud and on-premise technologies.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security standards such as FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST.
- Conduct regular system vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and remediation planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical projects on time and within scope.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers and junior staff.
- Document system configurations, operational procedures, and technical architecture diagrams.
- Manage incident response processes and coordinate with cyber defense teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or government contracting environments.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is required.
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are strongly preferred.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira/Confluence.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
