Responsibilities
- Execute rigorous technical audits to identify crawlability, indexability, and site architecture bottlenecks.
- Optimize Core Web Vitals and site speed to improve organic rankings and user engagement.
- Implement advanced schema markup and structured data to enhance rich snippets.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers to improve URL structures, canonicalization, and redirect strategies.
- Monitor search algorithm updates (e.g., Google Core Updates) and proactively adjust strategies to maintain position.
- Analyze complex data sets using Google Search Console, GA4, and proprietary tools to generate actionable insights.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Technical SEO, preferably within a SaaS or high-traffic e-commerce environment.
- Deep understanding of Google Search Essentials, crawling, indexing, and ranking algorithms.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with the ability to read and edit code.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical SEO findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and coordinating with development teams.
