Responsibilities
- Manage departmental calendars, scheduling, and correspondence
- Process state payroll and expense reports with weekly disbursement
- Maintain confidential state records and compliance documentation
- Coordinate inter-agency communications and public inquiries
- Support budget tracking and procurement processes
- Train new staff on state administrative protocols
- Prepare reports for state legislature oversight committees
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field
- 2+ years government administrative experience
- Texas State Notary Public certification preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Texas Government Code ยง2001-2054
- Valid Texas driver's license
- U.S. citizenship and background clearance required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable
