Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming documents, applications, and correspondence with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist the general public and state employees with inquiries regarding tax services and procedures via phone and in-person.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems for both physical and electronic records.
- Perform routine data entry tasks using state databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Collaborate with senior staff to prepare reports and organize departmental workflows.
- Ensure compliance with all state policies, regulations, and confidentiality agreements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills (minimum 35 WPM).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Valid Florida Driver's License is preferred.
