Responsibilities
- Receive, screen, and distribute incoming mail, emails, and faxes in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage complex filing systems and maintain accurate digital and physical records in compliance with state regulations.
- Greet visitors and provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and directing them to the appropriate departments.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Assist with data entry tasks to update departmental databases and track key performance metrics.
- Coordinate scheduling for managers and staff, including arranging meetings and travel logistics.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous office or customer service experience is a plus, but not required for this entry-level role.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in typing (30+ WPM).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex instructions accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for government security clearance.
