Role Overview
As a State Government Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations within our department. You will work directly with the public and internal staff to ensure compliance with state regulations and deliver top-tier service.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate daily administrative functions and office operations in the Jacksonville office.
- Process and verify state documents, ensuring strict adherence to Florida government compliance standards.
- Communicate effectively with the public, government officials, and department heads to resolve inquiries and facilitate service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports for state auditors and management.
- Assist in the implementation of new state policies and procedures across the department.
- Perform data entry and maintain digital databases for departmental efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an administrative or government-related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and government database systems.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive government information.
