Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions and system specifications.
- Manage end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to government standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and subject matter experts, to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct system testing, data analysis, and performance tuning to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and compliance regulations.
- Document technical processes and provide training to staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in information technology or state/federal government roles.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or SQL.
- Must be a current resident of the District of Columbia.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
