Responsibilities
- Maintain and Update IT Infrastructure: Manage and troubleshoot state-owned hardware and software systems to ensure uninterrupted government operations.
- Data Management: Ensure the integrity, security, and accuracy of sensitive citizen data and government records within our centralized databases.
- User Support: Provide technical assistance and training to state employees, helping them navigate digital tools effectively.
- System Security: Monitor system activity to identify potential threats and implement necessary security protocols to protect state assets.
- Project Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects aimed at improving government efficiency and citizen engagement.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, data entry, or administrative roles within a government or large-scale organization.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with government databases or CRM systems is highly desirable.
- Background Check: Must pass a thorough background investigation and fingerprinting as required by state law.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
