Responsibilities
- Process, verify, and authorize pension applications and benefit claims submitted during the night shift.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date databases of state employee records and retirement plans.
- Communicate with retirees and stakeholders regarding benefit inquiries via secure channels.
- Ensure strict compliance with state regulations, internal policies, and auditing standards.
- Perform high-precision data entry, reconciliation, and reporting tasks.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless operations and continuity of service.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Business, Finance, or Public Administration is preferred.
- Previous experience in government operations, finance, or customer service is highly valued.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
