Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to emergency communications during overnight hours
- Conduct routine patrols and security assessments of state facilities
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Document incident reports with precision and confidentiality
- Maintain communication protocols with dispatch centers
- Perform preventative maintenance on security systems
- Train and mentor new night shift personnel
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and security software
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Experience in security, law enforcement, or emergency services (bonus)
