Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts for state programs
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and recommendations for senior leadership
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to implement community-focused initiatives
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research on public sector challenges
- Manage stakeholder communications with government officials and community partners
- Monitor compliance with state regulations and reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years of government or public sector experience
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, Excel)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Valid Texas driver's license
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass background clearance
- Experience with grant administration and budgeting processes
