Responsibilities
- Analyze state legislation and regulations for compliance and impact
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and recommendation reports
- Collaborate with federal/local agencies on cross-jurisdictional initiatives
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using government data systems
- Present findings to legislative committees and stakeholders
- Monitor emerging policy trends and best practices
- Support grant application processes for state-funded programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years policy analysis or government experience
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, Excel)
- Knowledge of Texas legislative processes
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain security clearance
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Master's degree preferred
