Responsibilities
- Oversee state program implementation and compliance in San Diego County
- Manage budgets exceeding $2M and ensure fiscal accountability
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to optimize public services
- Analyze policy impacts and recommend evidence-based improvements
- Lead stakeholder engagement with community partners and officials
- Prepare legislative reports and executive briefings
- Mentor junior staff and develop succession plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience in government program management
- California Public Manager Certification (CPMC) or equivalent
- Expertise in state/federal grant administration
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau)
- Valid California driver's license
