Responsibilities
- Manage Weekend Operations: Oversee and execute essential administrative functions and data processing tasks specifically scheduled for the weekend shift to ensure agency continuity.
- Remote Support: Provide timely and accurate assistance to internal stakeholders and the public via secure remote channels, addressing inquiries regarding state policies and services.
- Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure all submitted documents and data entries strictly adhere to District of Columbia government regulations and internal quality assurance standards.
- System Maintenance: Monitor and report on the status of government databases and digital systems during non-business hours to maintain operational integrity.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for urgent communications during the weekend, coordinating with on-call teams to resolve critical issues.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current weekend workflows and propose solutions to enhance productivity and service delivery.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a government or corporate administrative role, with a proven track record of reliability.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule as required by the agency.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with MS Office Suite, government case management software, and secure remote access tools.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally.
- Remote Readiness: Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment with high self-discipline and time management.
