Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize complex database systems to ensure high availability and performance for state agencies.
- Analyze system requirements and design scalable technical solutions that align with government compliance standards.
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols to safeguard sensitive government data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver innovative IT projects on time.
- Provide expert technical troubleshooting and support to internal stakeholders and external agencies.
- Conduct regular system audits and generate detailed technical reports for leadership review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT analysis, system administration, or a similar technical role within a government or enterprise setting.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or other relevant programming languages.
- Deep understanding of network security, cloud computing, and data privacy regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to pass a standard state background check and security clearance.
