Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues during weekend hours.
- Monitor and maintain the stability of key state systems, including email, database access, and secure portals.
- Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets and user inquiries with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and security updates to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with the weekday support team to document issues and escalate complex technical problems.
- Ensure strict adherence to state security protocols and compliance regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Must be available to work a regular weekend schedule (e.g., Saturday and Sunday) or specific weekend shifts as required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
