Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic vision, aligning emerging tech trends with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize innovation opportunities
- Conduct horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Create scenario-based forecasts and risk mitigation strategies for future markets
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of industry experts and academic partners
- Drive thought leadership through white papers and conference keynotes
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning or innovation leadership
- Proven experience with emerging technology adoption cycles
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Austin, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Portfolio of successful strategic initiatives launched in the past 5 years
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFS) preferred
