Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive trends, technologies, and market shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop strategic frameworks and scenario-planning models for long-term organizational resilience
- Translate complex foresight research into executive-ready recommendations and roadmaps
- Partner with R&D, product, and marketing teams to integrate future insights into innovation pipelines
- Deliver compelling presentations to stakeholders and boards on emerging opportunities and risks
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Produce annual Future State reports and trend briefs for executive decision-making
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership roles
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, Economics, or related field
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and societal shifts
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills with C-suite experience
- Published research or thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation
- Experience building cross-functional teams and translating foresight into operational strategy
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-state strategy implementations
