Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing sectors
- Develop 5-year strategic scenarios and roadmaps for executive decision-making
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align innovation portfolios with future market opportunities
- Present foresight findings to stakeholders through compelling narratives and visualizations
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory changes affecting long-term strategy
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author quarterly futures intelligence briefings and annual outlook reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Assessment, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend forecasting methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional data synthesis and storytelling abilities with executive audiences
- Experience with Delphi methods, SWOT analysis, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic impact
- Comfort working with ambiguity and translating complexity into clarity
