Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications and database systems for state operations.
- Analyze complex user requirements and translate them into technical specifications for engineering teams.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to implement digital solutions that improve government efficiency.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to security protocols and state regulations.
- Train staff on new software tools and system updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or network administration.
- Proven experience with SQL, Python, or Java in a government or enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and data privacy laws.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Valid Driver's License is required for this role.
