Responsibilities
- Manage weekend traffic control operations for major construction zones
- Coordinate with state/local agencies on infrastructure maintenance schedules
- Monitor real-time traffic data and adjust signal timing dynamically
- Prepare incident response reports for weekend-related disruptions
- Train weekend crews on safety protocols and equipment usage
- Update transportation databases with operational metrics
- Conduct field inspections of weekend project compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 3+ years transportation operations experience
- Flexibility to work rotating weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- Familiarity with MUTCD traffic control standards
- Proficiency in ArcGIS and traffic simulation software
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions
- US citizenship required for federal compliance
