Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray and screening equipment to detect prohibited items
- Conduct physical and baggage screenings of passengers and cargo
- Enforce TSA security protocols with professionalism and discretion
- Respond to security incidents and suspicious activity reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Maintain detailed documentation of screening activities
- Provide exceptional customer service to diverse travelers
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Valid driver's license (if applicable to role)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 4 hours)
- Basic computer literacy and documentation skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull 70 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
