Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and explosive detection systems
- Conduct physical screening of passengers, including pat-downs and bag inspections
- Identify and report prohibited items according to TSA protocols
- Monitor security checkpoints and respond to suspicious activities
- Provide courteous assistance to passengers with special needs
- Maintain accurate security documentation and incident reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel
Qualifications
- US citizenship and valid government security clearance
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
