Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and baggage using TSA-approved equipment
- Operate X-ray machines and walk-through metal detectors
- Conduct pat-down searches and baggage inspections
- Identify and report prohibited items according to TSA protocols
- Maintain accurate security checkpoint documentation
- Provide excellent customer service to travelers
- Work collaboratively with law enforcement when necessary
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift 70 lbs
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer literacy for equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
