Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on items for prohibited materials using X-ray machines and manual inspection techniques
- Monitor security checkpoints to detect potential threats and ensure compliance with TSA regulations
- Operate advanced imaging technology and metal detectors with precision and efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security protocols and professional demeanor
- Document security incidents and submit detailed reports following established procedures
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel to address security concerns

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or legal permanent resident status
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 pounds
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn security systems
- Fluency in English (Spanish bilingual preferred for Laredo location)
