Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and baggage at security checkpoints using X-ray machines and other screening equipment
- Conduct pat-down searches and other security measures as required by TSA regulations
- Identify and report suspicious items or activities to supervisory personnel
- Enforce TSA security procedures and guidelines to maintain a secure environment
- Provide courteous and professional customer service to travelers, assisting with screening processes
- Work collaboratively with team members and follow instructions from supervisors
- Stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 pounds as needed
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug test
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 70 pounds
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions accurately
- No prior felony convictions
