Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough passenger and baggage screenings using X-ray equipment and manual search techniques
- Operate advanced detection systems to identify prohibited items and potential threats
- Perform pat-down searches and explosive trace detection procedures as required
- Maintain strict compliance with TSA security protocols and SOPs
- Provide exceptional customer service while enforcing security regulations
- Document security incidents and suspicious activities through digital reporting systems
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during security escalations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship with ability to pass federal background investigation
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must be 18+ years old and able to obtain TSA security clearance
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness skills
- Proficient in digital systems with remote onboarding capabilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Successful completion of pre-employment assessments (remote-proctored)
