As a key member of our security team, you'll use advanced screening technology to detect potential threats while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo using X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other security equipment
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and baggage inspections as needed
- Operate advanced imaging technology to identify prohibited items
- Interact professionally with travelers, providing assistance and security information
- Maintain accurate security screening documentation and incident reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement during security incidents
- Participate in continuous security training and technology updates
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Pass background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer proficiency for administrative tasks
- Valid U.S. driver's license (preferred)
