Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and baggage at security checkpoints using advanced X-ray technology and metal detectors
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and explosive trace detection procedures
- Monitor CCTV systems and respond to security incidents with precision
- Enforce TSA regulations while maintaining professional customer service standards
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during emergency situations
- Complete detailed documentation of security activities and incidents
- Participate in regular training on new security protocols and technologies
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status with required documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TSA security clearance
- Pass background investigation and drug screening
- Valid state driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills
- Experience in customer service or security preferred
