Responsibilities
- Passenger and Property Screening: Utilize advanced imaging technology, X-ray equipment, and manual screening methods to inspect passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo for prohibited items.
- Security Operations: Enforce security regulations and procedures to prevent unauthorized access to secure areas of the airport.
- Document Verification: Verify travel documents, including passports and boarding passes, ensuring compliance with TSA regulations.
- Customer Service: Deliver professional and courteous service to travelers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Queue Management: Maintain an organized flow of passengers through screening checkpoints to minimize delays and enhance the travel experience.
- Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and report the operational status of screening equipment and notify supervisors of any malfunctions.

Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen or a national of the United States, or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
- Education: High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- Background Check: Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation, including a criminal history records check.
- Medical Fitness: Must be able to pass a medical examination, including drug screening and a physical fitness assessment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive motions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
