Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough screening of passengers, baggage, and cargo using advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment.
- Identify and intercept prohibited items, weapons, and explosives to ensure the safety of the airport and passengers.
- Enforce security regulations and procedures consistently and impartially.
- Assist passengers with special needs and provide excellent customer service to ensure a smooth security experience.
- Monitor security checkpoints and maintain a professional demeanor in high-pressure environments.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve security alerts and ensure efficient checkpoint operations.
- Complete all required training and maintain certification in screening procedures.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must pass a background check, including a criminal history review and drug screening.
- Ability to pass a medical examination and meet physical fitness requirements.
- Must be able to speak, read, and understand English fluently.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
