Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough passenger and baggage screening using advanced detection equipment
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and explosive trace detection systems
- Perform pat-down searches and bag inspections per TSA protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining security standards
- Document security incidents and suspicious activity reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel
- Maintain compliance with TSA SOPs and federal regulations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (mandatory)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background investigation & medical exam
- Proficient in English (reading/writing/speaking)
- Ability to stand for extended periods in high-traffic environments
- Valid state driver's license
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to obtain TSA security clearance
