Responsibilities
- Perform passenger, carry-on baggage, and cargo screening using X-ray technology and other screening equipment.
- Identify prohibited items and take appropriate action to mitigate security threats.
- Conduct thorough searches of individuals and property to ensure compliance with federal security regulations.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, answering questions and providing exceptional customer service in high-pressure environments.
- Follow all TSA security directives, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and emergency protocols.
- Complete required training and maintain certifications to ensure continued employment eligibility.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a federal background check, including fingerprinting and security clearance.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to pass a medical examination and drug screen.
- Willingness to work in a standing posture for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
