Responsibilities
- Operate advanced screening equipment including X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Screen passengers, baggage, and cargo for prohibited items
- Conduct pat-down searches and bag inspections as needed
- Maintain strict security protocols at checkpoints
- Document security incidents and suspicious activities
- Provide excellent customer service to travelers
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass background investigation and drug test
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/holidays
- Basic computer literacy skills
- Strong communication and observational abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods
