Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage to detect concealed weapons, explosives, and other prohibited items.
- Operate X-ray machines and metal detectors to ensure compliance with security regulations.
- Conduct pat-down searches and baggage inspections as necessary.
- Monitor security checkpoints and respond to suspicious activity.
- Assist in resolving passenger concerns and providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents and screening activities.
- Adhere to TSA policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Pass a background investigation and drug screening.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
