Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray machines and metal detectors to screen passengers and baggage
- Conduct physical searches of persons and property as required
- Verify travel documents and boarding passes
- Identify prohibited items and security threats
- Maintain security checkpoints in compliance with TSA protocols
- Respond to security incidents and emergency situations
- Provide excellent customer service to travelers
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license (if applicable to position)
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
