Responsibilities
- Operate advanced screening equipment (X-ray, metal detectors, CT scanners) to detect prohibited items
- Conduct thorough physical and electronic screening of passengers, carry-on luggage, and cargo
- Maintain strict security protocols while providing courteous customer service
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate screening records
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during security breaches
- Participate in regular security drills and training exercises
- Adhere to TSA SOPs and federal aviation security regulations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (mandatory requirement)
- Ability to pass rigorous background investigation and drug screening
